Seating chart generator / Terms of Service

Terms of Service

Plain terms for a small tool. Last updated 2026-10-16.

The service

Seating Chart Generator (seating-chart-generator.com) is a website for planning seating charts. The planner is free with no guest limit. The paid plans are described on the pricing page.

Who sells it

Payments are handled by Waffo, which acts as the merchant of record: Waffo is the seller on your receipt, processes the payment and handles sales tax or VAT. Waffo’s own terms apply to the checkout.

Your license

• Event Pass: US$14.90, paid once, no automatic renewal, 90 days from purchase. The 90 days run from the purchase, not from the first use.
• Planner: US$12.90 per month, cancel any time, access until the end of the paid month. It renews every month until you cancel. Waffo emails a reminder 3 days before each renewal. To cancel, email support@seating-chart-generator.com and we cancel it through Waffo. Access continues until the end of the paid month.
• Both plans unlock the same features.
• You may use it for personal and business purposes, including planning events for clients.
• One key works in up to 3 browsers or devices at the same time. The license is stored in each browser. “Remove license key” frees that slot. Clearing your browser data without removing the key leaves the slot taken; email support and we will free it. Please don’t share your key publicly.
• We may stop a key that has been published or is clearly being resold.

No warranty

The site is provided “as is”, without warranty of any kind. Check printed seating charts and cards against your guest list before the event. To the extent the law allows, our liability is limited to the amount you paid.

Refunds and privacy

See the refund policy (14 days, no questions asked) and the privacy policy.
