About Seating Chart Generator

A seating chart planner that runs in your browser.

What it is and who it is for

Seating Chart Generator turns a guest list into a seating chart and the print files that go with it: a seating poster, an A to Z find-your-seat list, table numbers and place cards. It is for people planning a wedding, party or other event with tables, and for teachers who need a classroom seating chart. Start with the planner.

How it works

You paste a guest list or upload a CSV, choose the tables, and press Seat guests. Rules such as must sit together and must not sit together are applied, and you can drag names to other tables by hand. The list is kept in your browser and is not uploaded; there is no account. Details are in the privacy policy.

What is free and what is paid

The planner and every download are free; free downloads carry a small watermark. The Event Pass is US$14.90, paid once, no automatic renewal, 90 days from purchase: it removes the watermark and adds more print options. Payments go through Waffo, our merchant of record.
